Great Find!. On a recent rainy evening while staying at the Beaver Creek Lodge, we decided to head downstairs and have dinner at Rocks Modern Grill. Aside from hearing that the restaurant just re-opened with new management and a new chef, we had not read any recent reviews. Boy, are we glad we took the chance! Not only was the service top notch, the food was delicious in this well-decorated, cozy restaurant. We tried the artichoke heart appetizer which was very tasty. Our salads were fresh and flavorful and the beef tenderloin we ordered was one of the best we’ve experienced. Our dining experience exceeded our expectations. The evening prior we tried the well-reviewed Grouse Mountain Grill in Beaver Creek and were disappointed. Portions were small and prices were outrageous. We’ll be back to Rocks Modern Grill on our next trip to BC! Great breakfast here, too, with reasonably priced children’s menu.
The prices were steeper than most bar and grills have but we both ended up ordering apps anyway. I got the delicious tomato soup and it was wonderful! Husband got the half rack and we split the lobster dip. Dip had good flavor and presentation but the homemade chips were YUM!! Overall, decent food, quick service.
45 minutes for making salads and burgers and just water. They didn’t realize they hadn’t fed our table of 7 and we left after 45 minutes still with no food served to us.

Few restaurants cook a steak better than me. Eat their bone-in ribeye.
