Excellent cuisine and affordable prices. I was a concierge for a large resort in Avon for 5 years. I sent everyone to Ticino and never had a complaint! Everyone came back thanking me for sending them. It was one of my favorite places to eat in the whole Vail Valley. I would eat there about twice a week. It is small and cozy and the food is consistently amazing! I had guests from all over the world coming to me for reccomendations and I was always confident in sending them to Ticino. I cannot imagine anyone having a bad experience there. Charles and his son Sacha were perfect hosts and always made sure everything was perfect.
Horrible experience. Food was average but we could have gotten over that. The problem came when we were charged for a wine spritzer and we sent it back. It tasted terrible! The owner came out and insulted the party who had asked to have it taken off our bill. He even threatened to call the cops a number of times.
Went there with a huge group of people and from the get go we’re treated rudely. After telling us we couldn’t sit on the patio bc it was too full we insisted and entered a completely empty patio. The food was way over priced and the quality was nothing more than food you could buy premade at the grocery store. The waiter only brought us half of the things we asked for between drinks and napkins. The waiter told one gluten intolerant guest that the gnocchi was gluten free until another member of party asked what kind of flour they used and he said wheat. Overall, not worth the price for food or service. Our group was large and tip was included so they didn’t try and it was obvious.
What a gem! Go early or expect a worthwhile wait.
Kid friendly yet still nice, warm atmosphere. Delicious wood fired pizzas (everything from plain cheese to spinach, gorgonzola, plus more) and nice salad choices too. It’s a small place, so reservations are recommended.
Wonderful service and food. Reasonably priced for the area. Definitely will add it to our places to revisit. Party of 14 (some children) served with smiles and professionalism.
Excellent little restaurant. You can tell the recipes and food are crafted with care. It’s rare to find an Italian restaurant in the US that actually reminds you of real life Italy. This one does. And very affordable for Avon/BC. Try the la rosa sauce. Subtle and scrumptious.
