Came for an early dinner before a concert at the recommendation of a friend. Sat on the patio. Had a reservation, open table said they were all booked but called and was able to get a 5:00. Happy hour is from 4-6 daily so even on a Saturday got to enjoy very reasonable wine selections for a nice sized pour. We started with the happy hour charcuterie which had 2 selections that were fantastic. They provided bread which was served with butter and a smoked salt on the side which was great. We split the pork selection which made it a perfect portion to leave satisfied and not overly full. Love the concept of this restaurant, food is mostly from their own farm. Everything tasted amazing and the service was perfect. Had friendly conversation with a few waiters. Prompt service without feeling rushed. Great to find a new place in Boulder away from Pearl with lots of parking. Will be back!
I have been here twice, once for happy hour and once for dinner. My partner and i together have tried more than half of the menu. Happy hour is reasonable and I have yet to have anything I didn’t like (and a few items I’ve loved). They have delicious specials, I had lamb and it was deeply flavored and comforting. The soups are fresh and satisfying, the fries and gnocchi are tasty. The consistency is excellent and so is the service. I love their salt too, delicious, dark and sexy. My only complaint is the noise level. It’s also not intimate but it is a delightful place to people watch.
Came here for a media event and lovedd everything. The chef has incredible practices behind his sourcing and cooking methods, pulling in produce/ingredients from the best source possible-as in the freshest and highest quality, constantly changing throughout the year as seasons change. The night I was there he even had a sugar snap peas dish with fresh mint and lemon juice from his farm. The real gem here are the meats though-can’t even remember the thorough process they go through with vendors and aging, but I can tell you that whatever they do shows. Had just opened up their patios the night I was there as well and they were great. Back patio facing the major road was a little loud but I didn’t mind-is more for small plates/drinks anyhow. Patio near the entrance looked cozy and inviting. Would go back in a heartbeat.
I have never had a meal like this, by far my favorite restaurant I’ve ever been too. We sat at the chef’s counter, which I highly recommend. It’s like sitting at a bar except the bartenders are chefs!! You absolutely have to get the octopus salad, it is perfectly composed and one of the best things I’ve eaten in my life!!! It is a MUST!!!
