Everything a great restaurant should be. Service, food, wine, ambiance. Expensive but worth every penny. I ordered a sea urchin pasta that I ended up not liking. The maitre d’ noticed, came to inquire. Offered to replace the dish and when I demured, took it away, took it off the bill. Sommelier brought us small tastes of a couple of wines that he thought would go well with what we ordered. Everything was just delightful. I love Frasca.

Though many complain of the price and food here, I really can’t find fault in it at all. Every time I’ve eaten here I’ve had a soulful experience. The decor is sexy and understated. The wait staff (maybe not always the hostess) are elegant, prompt, quiet and extremely observant. I’ve had both their Quattro Piatti and Friulano Tradizionale menus. Each have been well thought out and are creative. The simplicity, flavor and quality of ingredients are what make this food outstanding. Let them suggest wine and liquor pairings, they know what their doing. If you are not wealthy, it is still worth the splurge at least once in your life. Life is short.

Very nice decor, classic. The service was outstanding with the staff being very courteous and knowledgable about the food and wine.I had the quarto 4 corse meal of the evening. There are several unique and tastey choices from each corse for selection. The food presentation was beautiful and I found the flavors fresh and unique.

A little disappointing. I’m giving Frasca 3 stars because my husband and I went last evening for our anniversary dinner. The service and ambiance deserve four stars. The food was delicious, however, all of our courses were so incredibly small, minute, or shall I say petite in terms of portions (my salmon entree portion wasn’t much bigger than my thumb). Desserts were not what you would expect of an establishment with this reputation – don’t waste your money on this course. Disappointingly, we both left hungry, and even thought we knew it would be very, very pricy, felt like we should have at least gotten a full meal for the money. Boulder has many other very fine restaurants that we will enjoy in the future.

Let me start off by saying I have never written a review for a restaurant and I have been working for restaurants or in the hospitality industry in general for about a decade now and also graduated from culinary school. Just moving here to Boulder fromCharleston SC I was really disappointed with the service I’ve been getting and the lack of desire to work in the service industry around town. I decided to stop in Frasca because their outdoor patios caught my eye silly enough. Once I stepped inside I was floored by how friendly the staff was and how beautiful the restaurant was. Especially how clean it was, my skin crawls when I am eating in a dirty restaurant. The service here is impeccable, I felt so welcomed and comfortable sitting with just a glass of wine as what it seemed like everyone who worked there came out to make sure I was enjoying everything. The wine I chose, just a simple pinot noir, was delicious and surprisingly affordable, seeing as they’re more on the pricey side. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for since I moved here and can’t wait to plan for an actual dinner with my other half. I highly suggest for you to stop by and try it. Thank you staff for making such a huge impression and look forward to the next visit.
