I finally am reviewing one of my favorite places to eat in Boulder. Sadly, it’s being demoted. The last four times I’ve gone here the food flavor, quantity and quality have diminished. I’ve eaten at several community night Monday dinners and the last was a complete disappointment. The pasta was one of their signature bests but all four of my last visits left me desiring something better…something from my memory. The cocktails have been lessening in quantity and for $10-$19 a pop, a few extra tablespoons makes all the difference. Maybe they should get smaller glassware so it doesn’t feel like the drinks are skimpy. I hope they get it together. I’ve left there kicking up my heels with delight in the past. Now, I fear a new pattern of leaving with my eyes turned down, tummy dissatisfied and pockets empty, is the beginning of the end of the Kitchen’s once superior quality.
