Best breakfast in Summit County! The omelettes are superb, as well as the donut selection, coffee and little pleasures like the sausage rolls.A true Breckenridge staple and throwback to real Americana. Cash only and the lines are out the door between 8-10 usually. Longer during high-season.
Daylight Donuts is a great spot for breakfast and a donut run. They are cash only, so bring your paper money. The outside is a part of a group of buildings. It is set back deeper on Main street, so the sign is harder to see than most. Inside is a rustic looking place with state license plates covering all the walls. Several tables are set up for in-house dining. They have a fairly decent offering of breakfast choices. Most people were picking up donuts and heading out. A few people camped out to enjoy their food.We tried the Ham & Cheese Pocket, Sausage Roll (kolache), Cinnamon Roll, Rose and Raised Blueberry. The ham & cheese pocket had green chilies in it, which made it spicy. I liked it, but my family did not. The sausage roll was fantastic. It’s real sausage and all the spices that go with it. The cinnamon role was good, but light on cinnamon. The rose was fun and tasty. The raised blueberry was very good.Great place! It’s much more than donuts, so consider this place for a full breakfast.
