I have been here 3 or 4 times. It actually is a pretty decent place. Nothing terrible, nothing incredible. I was pretty disappointed that no one got back to me when I called to inquire about having an event here at the end of this month. This was my first choice. I called 4 or 5 times waiting for the owner to get back to me. I had asked for pricing on a pizza buffet with drinks included. It’s to bad the owner chose not to call me back. Our money for a large group of over 40 people found another restaurant in the same area who cares about getting back to their customers. Disappointed
I actually like going here on the weekends for brunch. They have chicken and waffles and breakfast nachos (eggs, tortilla chips, green chile, cheese, etc) and both are very good. I’ve also had a few different burgers which were, well, burgers. Not out of this world but nothing I can find fault with.I’ve also hung out just at the bar a few times, my daughter attended the Montessori a few blocks away and if I’d finish work and arrive early I’d stop in to get a beer and do paperwork. They have a decent selection of beer on tap, but nothing that makes it stand out from any other local bar.I do think it’s a good local place and attracts a decent local crowd. Service is fair, and they have plenty of TVs to catch games. It’s family friendly, but later in the evening it’s more of a bar crowd. We don’t go here more than every 2 or 3 months, but it’s convenient to the movie theater a few blocks away for something other than chain food. katietalksabout.com
Service is bad. It took way too long to get service at the bar on a slow Friday afternoon. Bartender was busy eating pizza and visiting with regulars. Was at the location for over an hour, shot three games of pool, waitress only went to tables that appeared to be regulars, NEVER came to our table. I would avoid this bar, Not as friendly as advertised.
Terrible. The food is sub par, at best an the wait staff ignores their tables. My boyfriend got the rail pie, which he said was tasty, but has several pieces of grisel and fat. They used cheap meat. I had the pulled pork and it was dry flavorless. The waitress was doing side tasks instead of waiting her tables. Didn’t receive a single refil on my water or tea, and she never checked to see if we needed anything. Avoid this establishment unless you just want to grab a drink from the bar.
Copper Rail is a cool, local bar and grill. Good and reasonably priced food along with a laid back atmosphere. Been here twice so far and enjoyed both times.
