This place came highly recommended by a number of people, and it was fine. It wasn’t knock your socks off good, and it wasn’t by any means bad, it was just decent Mexican food.It’s set up is a bit odd, they have an upstairs and a downstairs and a patio and we sat in the downstairs which was basement like and REALLY hot. This was in February, so while it might have been to combat the cold outside, it made dinner pretty uncomfortable.I just couldn’t find anything that really jumped out at me on the menu. I’m sort of a picky Mexican eater. I ended up with a flauta dinner that was (for me) ok. It had guacamole so that makes everything delicious. My husband and daughter both liked what they had (Mexican hamburger and Quesadilla and rice), and my husband has suggested returning, so I know he enjoyed it. I did have a black raspberry margarita which most definitely hit the spot.I’m sure we’ll end up here again – I hope upstairs or on the patio. I’m definitely willing to try out a few different dishes. katietalksabout.com
