Not the usual Americanized Italian. Scalzotto, open only a few days, brings to Broomfield an authentic old Italian menu. This is not the usual Americanized, drenched in tomato sauces, overcooked pasta, but upscale old Italian dishes (no I didn’t say old Italian neighborhood dishes from the East Coast). The Ossobuco is great with an authentic sauce, the pasta is house made and cooked authentically, and overall the menu is like no other in the area.Get in there quick before commercial needs force them to change to the same old menu as everyone else!
