El Korita is among the very best. These two sisters owner’s cook everything as they do at home, from scratch. Yes, it may take a little longer but it is well worth the wait, if not then go to Taco Hell. I have eaten Mexican food all over the United States, and in most of the predominantly Mexican Cities, ie LA, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, Albuquerque, and Phoenix Arizona and this is one of the best.

I Have frequented this restaurant many, many times for lunch. Ive always gotten the same thing every time I go in there. I get the lunch crispy tacos and ask for beans instead of rice since I do not eat the rice. Ive never had an issue with this uncomplicated order until today. I was brought rice when my meal came and so I asked the waitress to just bring me a side of beans. She wanted to take my plate and remove the rice first, but being in a hurry as I only get a limited lunch break I asked her to leave my pate and just bring the beans they had messed up. She did…. however when I went to pay for my meal, they charged me for the beans. She told me her manager or boss told her too. I asked to speak with him, but he would not make himself available. She told me that since I did not let her take my plate and remove the rice, that she had to charge me for the beans. I explained to her that this was not fair since they were the ones that messed up, but I would pay for the beans, they would just lose a weekly customer over $1.25. She just shrugged as if she couldnt care, and obviously the owner or manager there doesnt either. The food has always been mediocre at best so there is no sense in me continuing to patronize this restaurant that makes me pay extra for their mistakes. If the manager would have made it right, it would not have been a big deal, but instead I payed $15.00 for three crispy tacos and some refried beans….. pretty outrageous to me.
