Terrible food!. Fabulous dinning room and outdoor dinning area. Clueless staff. Poorly prepared food. From the ingredients to the preparation, the chef missed the mark by a mile. I am surprised at the good reviews that are elsewhere online. Either the kitchen is inconsistent, the restaurant is padding the reviews, or the reviewers are satisfied with worse- than-Applebee’s quality food. None of the food that was prepared for my family was palatable or prepared well. I will never return. A poor excuse for a restaurant….don’t waste your time or money! Very disappointing indeed.

Not a place to celebrate.. Worst experience ever since moving to Castle Rock! Please let me explain. I made reservations for five (5) to have dinner and celebrate my wifes birthday. I specifically requested we be seated by the fireplace.Upon arrival, the hostess seated us in a room no where near the fireplace. When I said something about having reservations for a table in the room by the fireplace, she very rudely stated someone else had seated patrons in the area we had reserved, and there was nothing she could do. She then walked away. After sitting there several minutes, I decided to have dinner elsewhere, and we got up to leave the restaurant. As I walked out the door, I saw my daughter talking to a female near the table where we had been seated. I assumed she was explaining why we were leaving. I personally didnt feel any obligation to explain, and exited the restaurant. Several minutes passed and my daughter came out of the restaurant crying and visibly upset. When asked what was wrong, she stated a man identifying himself as the Owner came up to her and started yelling at her about leaving. The restaurants web site indicates the Owner has been in the restaurant business many years and takes great pride in customer service. If this man, who made my daughter cry, is in fact the owner of the restaurant, he would be well served to take lessons in customer service. If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, you may want to think twice before choosing this restaurant.

Pepper burger was peppery! Good stuff.

Don’t Waste Your Time. The service was terrible – it took 20 minutes to be acknowledged, once we were seated. – talked to the owner about an incident that will remain non-public. He was very defensive and more concerned about being right than addressing the issue.Food was average – we looked forward to trying this place. We were disappointed. We traveled down to Castle Rock from Highlands Ranch, which is not very far, and definitely would not make the trip back. – food was bland and unimpressive.Overall, not worth it. Many other places to choose from with better food, better service and better people to spend your money on. Don’t waste your time.

Wonderful restaurant with the best owner around. My family and I have been eating at Pegasus since we were children. John graciously hosted my first communion, breakfast after my high school graduation, and countless other significant dinners in our lives. Tremendous food and hands down the best owner ever. He has always been quite gracious to well behaved children and adults of all ages. The epitome of a small town, family owned, great business

It was a good meal at a moderate price. Nothing outstanding.

I’ve had better Greek food in the mall food court. From the moment I entered, everyone seemed to be confused as to what should be happening. The restaurant was not busy, though there were several tables with people eating. When we entered, the staff just looked at each other as if they were wondering why we were there. Finally, after 10 minutes of waiting, we were seated on the back patio. The server took her sweet time getting there, and then took another half an hour to bring drinks and get our orders. I asked her what she liked best, and she recommended the gyro, saying that she’s lived in Greece and they have the best gyro anywhere in the US that she’s been. I love a good gyro, so I ordered it. When it finally showed, it was absolutely the WORST gyro I have ever experienced. Just terrible. My dining companions ordered a burger and a quesadilla, and neither were very impressive. A 2 1/2 hour lunch for crappy service and mediocre food gets a bad rating in my book. I don’t believe I will ever return
