Horrible birthday dinner. We live near this restaurant and I had been craving good Italian (being Italian and from the East Coast) food for some time. We thought we’d try this place for my birthday so my boyfriend, his 2 teenage daughters and I went to Rose’s. The total bill for 4 dinners, 4 non-alcoholic drinks and 2 cannolis was 121.00 plus tip. The quality of the food was no better than a low priced chain. Honestly, Applebee’s is a better value. If the meal was $60 I would have felt better about it but I still would not go back. They have a nerve charging top dollar for food that is not very tasty. The risotto was not made with arborio rice and it was bland. The chicken marsala was not well seasoned and had way too much black pepper. For prices like that, there should be someone who knows how to cook. I will never go back there and am still annoyed that my birthday dinner was so bad and cost my boyfriend so much. I wish we had gone to Brio.

Disapointing. I was very excited to try a new restaurant in Castle Rock, especially Italian, but was disappointed today. The service was great, however, the food was not worth the money we paid. The portions were fine, but my salad had wilted lettuce and too much garlic and oregano in the dressing. I also tried the soup of the day (carrot amaretto) since it sounded so good on a cold winter day, but it was pretty boring. My husband noted the wilted lettuce on his sandwich as well…. I’m not talking just wilted, but all out slime on the tips. Very disappointed. Since it’s a new restaurant, I’m hoping they take the feedback. Maybe I was just there on a bad day as I’ve seen some pleasant reviews.

Wonderful Dinner and Date Night. I had a wonderful chicken Parmesan and the red sauce was homemade and delicious. The atmosphere of music on a Friday night with Christmas music was fun for the holiday. I hope to revisit again and try some of the many desserts

Nice lunch. I had a nice lunch here with my daughter. The kids meals are generous portions, with a nice and pretty dessert. My risotto was a bit too salty for my tastes, but well prepared and the rice was properly cooked for risotto. It was a very large portion for lunch. The real surprise for me was the espresso, which tasted as if made in an Italian cafe – nice strong brew with a good crema on top. Perfect way to end a nice meal.We will be back for dinner.
