Wow…very surprised had so many negative ratings dating back years ago. Evidently the manager payed attention and instituted major changes. My wife and I go to their happy hour average couple times a week for past couple years. Every time get $6 martini, Asian ribs, hummus plate, and calamari. Also wonderful fresh bread that becomes available after 5pm. As a walk in for happy hour you are informed at what time the reserved seating occurs – but never rushed. Staff friendly and attentive and very accommodating. I think you should give this restaurant a try and see what I am saying.
An infrequent diner over the past 15 or so years, whenever it first opened. Very good pizza and various Italien dishes. Nice indoor atmosphere and outdoor patio seating. Probably one of the better restruant experiences in Castle Rock. Modern building with nice archititure and bathroom. Open view kitchen and a lively crowd.
Terrible food, stuck up staff, poor management. And no I didn’t work there, just a COUPLE bad experiences.
Horrible service!! When we first walked in, the manager was on the phone with another customer that was complaining about the service. The manager didn’t even acknowledge us as we waited for nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged and shown to our table. And that is only the beginning of a horrible dining experience. I can’t possibly say enough about awful the service was here. Don’t eat here unless you have about 3 hours to spare because the slow service will make you want to rip your hair out!
The good here is really good, but as all of the other reviewers state, the service can be down right terrible and snooty. I’ve been in several times over the years, and I think I’ve experienced good service one time. One night my girlfriends and I were having a drink at the bar, and the owner and the manager were right there and it was like we didn’t exist. I only go to this place if I’m invited by someone else.
Food overpriced and bad, Service and patio great. We had great service, unlike some of the other reviews. And, they do have an excellent patio. But, the food is WAY over priced and not very good. The sauce on the kid’s cheese pizza was really greasy and none of us liked it. My wrap was good enough, but way over priced, and my husband’s burger was even more over priced for below-average quality. And, they have the nerve to charge a couple of bucks for french fries instead of potato chips when they are already charging $12 and $13 for a burger or wrap!
Terrible Service!. We have gone to this restaurant several times and had overpriced, below average food. We keep going back because of the patio and great martinis. But the most notable thing about our last visit was the TERRIBLE service. Needless to say we will not be back there are many other options in Castle Rock with good service and good food. The owner needs to get it together – I have heard many complaints from friends and neighbors about the service and the lack of caring about the poor service by the owner.
