Good food in a casual ‘fast food’ atmosphere. Eat in or to go is offerred. Good tasty Mexican. This is better than Taco Bell, but not gourmet cusine, although it could be if it tried to.So stay objective.The location is on Wilcox in the middle of Castle Rock, next to the Star Bucks.
Wow, small-town love for a mediocre taco place? We tried Yolanda’s based on the rating, much to our disappointment. The guacamole is awful, like the preserved refrigerated kind at the grocery store. I tried a shrimp taco and a steak taco which were painfully boring. My husband green chile burrito was actually a burrito smothered with green chili, lackluster green chili I might add. None of the salsas were particularly interesting either.This place is popular and hopping with customers, so maybe we tried ALL the wrong things?
Came, ordered, ate.The meal was definitely good but for some reason I just wasn’t getting into it. I think I will need to try this place again in the future lest it was me having a bad day.Obviously the ingredients were good and the selections excellent. It felt kind of like a Freebirds for tacos.
