Sabor. I was first introduced to this extraordinary restaurant in high school. I am not usually a blogger about food, but this place deserves the recognition. They have FANTASTIC breakfast burritos and smothered burritos. This is the only burrito joint with refried beans, queso, AND potatoes that I know of. Beats Chipotle, Q’doba, and Illegal Pete’s in my opinion!

Sabor Grill Highlands. We went there on June 29 for our Last Wednesday of the Month gathering. I like what they have done to this place. I love their posole. We ordered chips and guac and after we tasted it the guac tasted like they used over ripe avacadoes. We asked the waiter to take it back. Next thing we knew he returned to our table with an avacado in hand encouraging us to squeeze it to prove it was not over ripe. First time that something like that has happened. It was the funniest thing. We still made him take the guac back. We will be back. Other dishes were great and the guac is usually great too.
Excellent breakfast burritos. Not the fanciest place, but good food nonetheless.
