Nice Little Place on the Corner. I found this place and it was a nice quiet place. They have Sandwiches to DIE FOR!. Really big and chunky. I’d totally go back. Place is clean and just a nice place on the corner. It seems you cant make everyone happy (previous posts) ever, for a shop to be open 1 month I think they are doing a terrific job.
Probably Would Not Go Back. Seems like basic coffee shop offerings, a few baked items and breads, and some hot items. Had the cornish pasty and was disappointed: crust a bit chewy and I could only taste carrot in the filling. It was lightly filled for the price they charged. I don’t see much of reason to return. Nothing stands out.
I live in the downtown Colorado Springs area and I have seen a sidewalk sign for this place a lot recently so I figured I would stop by on my way home from the dog park.I have mixed feelings about this place erring on the side of not a fan.I came in about 9am on a Saturday and it was empty. It opened about a month ago I guess so that’s to be expected. It was actually nice it was so quiet. The girl who greeted me was friendly but seemed like she could care less about me or my order and that this was just a job for her an nothing more. Maybe she was having an off day.I sampled a cinnamon roll which was actually great, but not for $5. So I ordered a 12oz latte (only cause there was no 8oz option) and a breakfast burrito. She microwaved the burrito in front of me which is a way negative sign to me. Also the burrito tasted alright but something I could have gotten pre-packaged anywhere. The latte was actually temped correctly but was like watered down flavored milk. Pretty awful compared to other places in town. The owner or manager was there as well and actually seemed to know his stuff and really valued all who came in. I liked that and would return maybe because of him but otherwise not on my list of returning to. FYI their baked goods looked awesome and probably are so if you want that definitely still check it out but for a coffee and breakfast spot I say beware. Overall probably a 5 out of 10z
