Disclaimer I’ve only come for nosh and tails happy hour and brunch, never dinner, but I love it here. The nosh and tails menu changes weekly and is only Monday-Friday 5-6:30. I LOVE their Apollo’s Creed cocktail. Tart and lemony, I ordered it for the first time bc I was very intrigued that it had Greek yogurt in it and now I get it every time. Small plate appetizers are always good. Beautiful setting and atmosphere, great to end the week here on a Friday at 5. Brunch has unique and fantastic menu options and morning cocktails.
I lovingly refer to this spot as fairyland. Such a whimsically beautiful space to the lanterns hanging from the ceilings to the powdered soap in the bathrooms. Wait staff is always great and this last time had one of the best cocktails I’ve had Ina log while-worm’s wild ride. Not quite tart, not quite sweet, fresh and just right. My girlfriend ordered the wayward Englishman and it was great too, refreshing and risk on a hot day. Artisan cheeseboard is always amazing, cheeses constantly so I always order it and have never had the same thing twice.tried the carrots this time too-yumm. Great happy hour and great service.
WOW! EPIC. This place did not disappoint from the amazingly unique, once in a life time decor, to the scrumptious drinks and delectable food fit for a king. It was my first time there and I took 3 out of town visitors there who couldn’t get enough of anything and took about 25 photos of the place. We almost ordered 1 of everything on the menu and everything that came out was perfect. This is definitely the place to take someone to impress them or just for a good time. Pretentious hippy wannabes may feel the need to spout negativity, mostly because they probably wanted to hate it but couldn’t or they simply can’t appreciate it for what it is.
Never again. Finally visited for brunch after many friends have recommended….ended up with a three bite overcooked mini omlette and four fried corn nuggets doused in powdered sugar that I would never eat. Maybe I should have ordered something else, but honestly not a single thing on the menu sounded clean, fresh, healthy. i’m not a fan of heavy, overpriced/overrated southern style, mediocre food. The restaurant is unique and lovely, service was great but the food was simply not.good.
Thumbs Up. Beautiful interiors, great goat burger, awesome drink selection
Unbelievable… slap in the face. If you dine at this condensending restaurant, and you ask for some bread before your meal they will charge you extra for that. Have you ever been slapped in the face like that ? the food has gone down hill after the recent departure of their chef also
Cool vibe 10, food value 5. You walk in and you are blown away by a design ethic that goes on and on. Even the water pulls for the bathrooms are so cool. Seriously. Wine list has lots of good price points- good. But no vintages- bad. The cheese board was nice but no value, with three very small pieces of cheese. The moules and cider had broth from the gods, but maybe 8 moules. For $14-, though. Really. Mussels cost so little. I don’t even think we could weigh the meat in grams. And that was the theme. It seems the idea here is to have food that is different. There is very little in anyone’s wheel house. No comfort food, but everything is sort of forced to be different. Don’t get me wrong, different is good. Linger? Linger gets different but the food is the star. But here it seems to me they are trying too hard to only be different. The potatoes with the bison loin were smoked lovely. Nice smoke flavor. Different. But under cooked and not seasoned. The duck burger got a zero for duck flavor. Different but boring. Try it, the place is cool. Maybe too cool. I want food first, and will compromise on cool. Just me.
