Ask anyone in my life, and they’ll describe my unhealthy relationship with bagels (probably in extensive detail). I love bagels. I can’t get enough of bagels. So when I saw there was a bagel place nestled between my boyfriend’s work and my favorite coffee shop, I had to pop in. Overall, I like Bruegger’s; it’s a quiet shop with friendly employees that offers one of my favorite foods. The food isn’t exceptional, but it’s inexpensive and convenient, so I’ll likely be back.
Bruegger’s is more of an East coast chain from what I’ve heard, but that is okay by me. They offer a lot of different bagels and types of cream cheese, with a more simple and straightforward menu than some of their competition. The service here is really good too, a guy offered to make me a fresh batch of egg salad because he didn’t want to serve me any that wasn’t fresh. Thank you, Bruce Wayne of Breugger’s…I’ll never forget that fresh egg salad….
