Fantastic food, atmosphere, and staff! Had cheese fondu with apple, pear, brussel sprouts, peppers, and bread for an appetizer. For my entree, I had braised ribs with a Gorgonzola polenta and mushrooms. Our table shared a nice bottle of Cabernet and had crime brle for dessert. I definitely plan on bringing my husband here the next time we’re in Denver!
Decided to take some family out for a nice lunch in Larimer Square over the weekend. We ordered the charcuterie board, which featured Fois Gras Pate, Salumi, Prosciutto, Ribiola, and an assortment of pickled vegetables. The Fois Gras was spectacular, but the Salumi, Prosciutto and Ribiola were all highly americanized takes on the original Italian preparations. I would not order the Charcuterie plate again. From there we had the Cheese Fondue which was amazing! The main stars of this dish were the fried artichoke hearts. From there we had one of the signature wood-fired pizza’s which was good, but not great. We capped the meal off with an order of Scallops and Spinach Risotto. The scallops and risotto were well prepared but the seasoning on the Scallops tended to overwhelm the dish with salt. Good dining experience with a great selection of wines to accompany the meal.
No change?. I went to the restaurant during the NEA convention. While we had good service ( at least I thought so) when the bill came they willing split the bill. When the change was returned, the waitress told us they just round off the bill, so for $22.50 bill, I was given $7.00 in change. She said that was their policy.
