Duopoly: great brunch & enjoyable experience!. A bright, cozy atmosphere coupled with an excellent brunch made the perfect addition to our day. My wife had the pork Benedict and I had the chicken salad, both were wonderful. A friendly and competent waitstaff made us want to go back, as if the Novo decaf weren’t enough to do that by itself. Oh, and lest I forget the scones…it should be a national requirement to send all Starbucks franchisees to Duo to learn what a real scone tastes like! We will go back.

Every time we’ve been there it has been incredible! The food, desserts, coffee, service are all amazing. The menu is local, fresh, and extremely tasty. We’re big fans.

Very sad showing on the Sunday before valentines day. Restaurant was out of 2 items from a menu of 8 items at 8:00, with reservations and a full restaurant. Special was also 86’ed, left without eating since the two items were the whole reson we choose this resturant. Seems the chef doesn’t know how to order food or look at the books to judge how many covers are in his house for a busy weekend. Two chefs who will not be going back to a uncarring bussines! Server and host could have cared less that we were leaving unhappy.

Yum!. From start to finish-everything was fabulous. We were greeted and promptly seated. Love the decor, exposed brick, very romantic. Even the rain added to ambience! Service throughout the night was spot-on; knowledgable, friendly, balanced. Started with the fried green tomatoes-absolutely divine…and I have eaten my share, coming from the south. These were done with a twist with a poached egg-first yum of the night. I had the duo of duck, perfectly cooked, crisp on outside, moist and full of flavor inside. Hubby had duo of lamb, again a perfectly cooked and seasoned dish. Dessert: pot de creme with caramel. Ok, anything with salted caramel and I’m a happy camper. Portions are not huge but we were more than satiated because our palates were singing!

This farm to table place is delicious. The menu selection isn’t huge, but the quality and flavor of the food is wonderful. I had roasted chicken, which you might think sounds boring, but it was so tender and well seasoned.

MMMmmmm!!!. Great place for a date! Excellent service, wine menu, ambiance. Food definitely stands out in a neighborhood of blah. As another reviewer said, the silverware is mismatched, lightweight and doesnt match the overall feel of Duo, but I overlooked it. For these prices, I definitely expected better tablewares – as they complete the dining ‘experience.’ Definitely will go back. I really need to try their brunch, I hear it’s outstanding!

Pleasant from start to finish. Great atmosphere, creative menu, and a nice emphasis on fresh and seasonal ingredients. Tasty!
