Wonderful!. My ever lovely wife and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary here, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We chose the 5 course dinner with matching wines which gave us the opportunity to sample a large percentage of the menu. Our waitress got a little tied up at the beginning of the evening, but one of the managers immediately filled in. She pointed out that the owner, Frank Bonnano, was at the restaurant that evening and we saw him busily working away in the kitchen. Love that. Each serving tasted heavenly and demonstrated the creativity of the head chef. Thank-you!

Place seems to have gone downhill. Bummer because was our favorite in Denver . Food was off, bad execution and bad recipes.

The best restaurant in Denver. Always an impeccable evening, great food, wonderful service. I can’t remember a single negative all the times I have eaten here. A great restaurant. Well done chef bonnano.

Our favorite restaurant in Denver. It is worth several visits to get to know the place. The foie gras is consistently wonderful. The veal chop is simply the best I’ve had ever. We enjoy talking with the staff and learning about the preparation of the food. If you are curious the staff, including the kitchen staff, is very accessible.

Excellent food and service. We were there on one of the last days of their January menu. The service in this place was beyond excellent. Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive (without hovering). After ordering, we had the sommelier come by to pick a couple bottles of wine to accompany our meal and he too was very knowledgable and gave us some very good options (of which we ordered both). As far as the meal goes, The veal sweetbreads were crispy, delicate and wonderfully sauced the accompanying sweet bun (haha) was a nice texture and flavor counterpoint. My wife had their famous lobster mac and we were both surprised by how creamy and sweet it was. We’re definitely going to try and recreate this dish at home. For my main, I had the stuffed prawns. The prawns were perfectly prepared and the chorizo stuffing was tasty. The accompanying stew didn’t really do much for me. It seemed to me that the calamari were in the stew too long and were a bit over done, the stew itself was a bit bland for my tastes. The striped bass my wife ordered , however, was probably the best fish dish we’ve had since moving to Denver. The fish was flavorful and delicate and the skin was very crispy (just how I like it). The sauce, croquette and leeks accompanying this dish were also well prepared and added a great balance to this dish. This place is definitely not going to be our weekly dinner spot but will always be on the list for special occasions.
