This place has it all. Amazing food, great service, unbelievable atmosphere…and jazz. Had a great time. If you’re going on a Thursday – Sunday night, make a reservation. Love t his place. Great for special occasions or date night.
I don’t get the seriously sucky sub 3 score. Why? Not a cool place? It Is a cool place. Big velvet curtains keeps the reception area noise at bay. There’s a Great grand curved staircase up to the mezzanine seating area. Cool? Yeah. Is it the drinks list? No. Approachable bottle prices- our Loire Crment was $33- no gauging there. The food? Ours was fresh, well prepared, correctly cooked- just right, really. Servers were way pro. Oh, and the Jazz? We saw a three piece band- keys, drums and guitar. All played high level jazz. Cool space. Damn fine place really.

We shared the organic greens salad which was properly dressed and the chunks of mozzarella made it interesting. Next we shared the grilled flat iron steak with shrimp grits & tempura green beans. I wanted to lick the plate. I forgot to mention that we got to cuddle on a blue velvet love seat during the entire evening. Seriously, come here.
I am thrilled to be the first one to review this excellent new restaurant & jazz venue in RiNo! Nocturne has been open for about 6 months now & I highly recommend it! As you walk up to the restaurant, you are surrounded by amazing graffiti & expect another eyeful of beauty once you walk in. The space is just incredible with high ceilings and nice decor. Yet, it also very comfy inside while you enjoy some nice jazz nightly and seasonal foods prepared by the amazing chef. The owner, Scott, is an experienced sommelier & his wife, Nicole, helps make your night super special. The tasty food, the great drinks, the amazing space plus the live music, make for the perfect night out. GO!!!
