I come here with friends often….for MIMOSAS only. I have learned this the hard way. Let me explain. It’s a nice atmosphere and it’s a place I really want to like. Despite some poor experiences, I continued to try to give this place a chance. I had my immediate family in town and decided to bring them here for a birthday brunch. Bad idea, somewhat embarrassing. Not very good service, food was cold. The food here isn’t allowed to be so lousy in my mind because of the price you pay for it–it’s somewhat pricey in my mind–and there is no excuse for it being as poor as it is. I came here again with a close friend on a girls day–again to give it another chance–food was not impressive/barely warm and not that exciting. Not worth the price I paid. I was disappointed again. I decided to give them a THIRD try. Even worse of an experience. Such poor service this time. The server had a table of friends sitting next to us and she was consistently checking up on them, filling drinks–not us–I constantly had to waive her down to ask for water, sauce etc. Food was cold. I ordered eggs extra poached, they came very runny. Server never asked how the meal was. I was so upset this time I went to a manager (not sure if an assistant or not) either way, I told him about the experience and thankfully he credited the food portion for us and we just paid our drink bill. I appreciated that but honestly it was deserved. I now only come back here for mimosas because they have a mean mimosa bar 🙂
