Spanky’s is asolid spot near campus to take your parents when they come visit. It’s got enough options for everyone to find something to their liking and the food is usually pretty good. The beer selection is just ok but I’d recommend trying one of the signature sandwiches or burgers, particularly the E.O.B.K which features a burger patty nestled between two glazed donuts. They also serve up some pretty good milkshakes (with adult flavors as well) and the outdoor patio offers mist machines for especially hot summer days

Good food, good service. Been going to spanky’s for a couple of years now, though haven’t been there for the last couple of months due to a bad experience. Stopped in the other day with some friends for a quick bite. A new server was very pleasant and helpful, food was pretty good. Glad to see a new manager change there as well. He has his work cut out for him from previous managers mistakes, but wish them luck. I would recommend spanky’s as a good place to eat and cheap drinks if you go in for there new late night after 9.
Food was good. Sweet potato fries were a plus. Service was horrible, guy didn’t know anything about the food or drinks or their specials. We had to get our own silverware, napkins , and condiments. Getting refills or another drink was like pulling teeth. The queso was pretty good but cost $9. Nine bucks for a handful of chips and a bowl of decent queso…come on.
We have been eating at spank’s for over ten years. We at never going again! The food was horrible. The fries were undercooked… Freezer burn still on them. We asked for cooked ones an they must have decries an old batch and served then burnt. The coleslaw tasted like it was dropped on the floor. Sad to see such a greAt old establishment go to crap
