We stayed at the Teatro, getting there late on a weeknight, and didn’t feel like wandering far. Boy were we glad we stayed in the hotel. The food was all VERY unique and VERY delicious, from the ‘chicken and biscuits’ to the halibut to the black forest cake (yum). This is NOT just a hotel restaurant – this is a really good restaurant period. Run, don’t walk.
The Nickel at the Hotel Teatro. In short…a terrific evening! Excellent service, excellent food, excellent experience. Made even more so by Drew Howell, the assistant manager who was working and on the floor that evening. I also have to give a shout out to the valet attendant. It is a plus anywhere when the valet goes the extra distance to provide service.
The Nickel is very classy with beautiful furnishings and fittings. The staff are fantastic – very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I only had the charcuterie board, which was delicious, and only wish I had had more time to have a full meal. The menu looks outstanding and unique.
