You’d think the large amount of positive reviews would suggest that this place is awesome. It isn’t.Let’s start with the building. If feels like walking into a mobile home. The toilets are in closets, and a sign suggests they’ve an ongoing plumbing problem. The condiments ate the cheapest, nastiest shit money can buy.I ordered chicken and waffles. The bacon and eggs were okay. The chicken was a nasty frozen patty, reminiscent of school cafeteria food.Avoid this place. IHOP is a better restaurant… and it pains me to say that. Rebecca was a good waitress, or I’d have given it a 1.0.
Very nice ambiance, great service and fabulous family friendly atmosphere! We are traveling from Texas with 3 small children: 5yrs, 4 yrs & 20 month old. Kids pasta was delicious, Burgers are huge and tasty! Husband absolutely loved the wings! Definitely a place we will consider coming to again. Worth the drive from Edwards, Colorado!!
Nice casual place with friendly service. It’s basic American fare with some Philly and southwestern mixed in. They could use some work on their salads, would be nice if they used something other than just iceberg lettuce. Some tables have a fantastic view of the damn and surrounding mountains. Would come back.
My husband ordered the tamales with green chili sauce. They were divine! So much flavor. I ordered veggie quesadilla which was good, but after trying his tamales, wish I had been more adventurous. Staff was super friendly. Note that they close between 2pm and 4pm every day.
Soup of the day New England Clam Chowder had far more cubes of potato then clams in a milk broth; trout was reasonably well prepared but tasteless; our table had to ask for bread which was dry and tasteless on arrival; beef brisket sandwich was shredded with no flavor; hamburger was dry and overcooked; first time at the restaurant for supper in several years – will be several years before we return
Delicious food. Wonderful coffee. The building was a bit cold and under heated. Overall a good experience. A good place to try if in the area.
So far our favorite place in Dillon/Silverthorne.Nice atmosphere, well thought out and produced dishes. Great service too.A bit pricy if you are thinking fast food prices, but a great value for better dining. Right next to the Best Western hotel and just a block or two from Lake Dillon. We find ourselves returning when passing through or staying over because it is such a refreshing experience.
