Was biking along the river trail and decided to stop for lunch on a gorgeous afternoon. The atmosphere was great–closest to the water in Durango–but I didn’t expect much of the food since it was just a hotel restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least! The food was delicious. The chicken panini with goat cheeses was tasty and balanced, and the salad selection was varied and well done. Service was attentive and friendly, even stopping to chat when we wanted.
Not a great or diverse menu but one of the best locations in Durango along the banks of the Animas River near downtown. Fresh, homemade potato chips that are to die for. Focaccia margarita appetizer was like being in Venice. Sandwiches and burgers were good as well. Reasonably priced for the ambience. A must for visitors to the area and we stop in each time we are in Durango.
