We have been out on the road for over two weeks, eating out three times a day and this was by far, hands down, by any measure the worst experience in six states. Seems like they’re are plenty of places to eat in town but these people seem to think they are the only ones. The worst service that I can remember starting with the hostess, to the wait staff to the bartender.Horrible staff AND they can’t brew an IPA ….what a joke, beware.
Good Food & ServiceCarvers seems like many other restaurants in Durango with a somewhat western feel and a sort-of brewpub atmosphere.Food was generally good although there were a few problems with undercooked mushrooms and over-salted green beans.Servers were pleasant. Overall, fine but not terribly memorable.
Good beer. Salty food. Poor service.
Recently had lunch at carvers and the meal was outstanding and service even better. I never had to ask for help since they were a step ahead of all my needs. Prices were fair. I will return again not only for lunch but for breakfast and dinner as well if I can get in. The beer selection was great also
1st Time Bad Service. My husband and I vacation in Durango often and Carver’s is our ‘go-to’ for great food and service. Today was the first time we received very rude service at breakfast from the bar tender (we sat at the bar because all the tables were full). We are pretty shocked because we always get such great service. Sadly, I think it is time to find another breakfast spot in Durango.
This ended up being our favorite little stop in Durango. Some of the best Beer we had around. My husband loved the IPA Cascade. I had the pink Raspberry beer. The main reason that we ended up here two days in a roll was for the Chipotle Meatballs. They were so yummy!!
Great atmosphere, open windows and breeze in front on beautiful Colorado days. Food was a plus, and brewery selection is good. Hard to find something not to like here.
