Very Poor Service, Disappointed to say the least. I usually don’t rate places, but after this experience I felt it necessary — which is unfortunate considering how great this place seems and how wonderful the food smells from the outside. A little background: me and 3 friends are in town on a snowboarding trip and are looking for some local grub. We all decided to go to DSP Pizza because it was nearby to our hotel. Unfortunately, we made a bad choice. The service was literally non-existent. We ordered 2 regular pizzas and chose to dine-in. We waited over 40 minutes and the pizza was cold by the time it got to our table. We saw multiple customers come in, order, and get served before us. Seriously, what’s up with that? We do have to say, we all enjoyed Durango’s restaurants overall, but would not recommend this place….. especially to out-of-towners. There seems to be a vibe (in Durango) where locals stare you down and out-of-towners receive less than average (or even expected) service. By ALL MEANS, DO NOT go here. Choose Homeslice Pizza, it is a little further, but it is all around better.
