On a hot, summer afternoon we enjoyed the ricotta and honey appetizer which was just the right mix of creamy and sweet. The caprese salad was fresh and drizzled with such a deliciously fruity olive oil I had to ask what brand it was. [FRESH PASTA ALERT!] I enjoyed my Guido’s ragu but as per usual, my hubby ordered the best dish of the day – gnocchi with the ragu. Piping hot pillows of gnocchi in their delicious ragu sauce. No picture of the gnocchi – it didn’t last long enough. Our server was great and very attentive. They also have a small market place with authentic Italian ingredients, a deli where you can pick up high quality meats, and sandwiches to go if you don’t have enough the time to sit and indulge. By far, our lunchtime trip to Guido’s was our favorite food experience of our whole Durango trip! We wished we would have tried it on our first day instead of our last day so we could go again.
