Best pizza and barbeque in town! No, the customer service isn’t what’s going to bring you back, but that’s because the restaurant doesn’t DO table service. You order at the counter, and the cooks bring you your food. Also be aware that just because there are a lot of empty tables doesn’t mean they aren’t busy; they have a lot of take-out business, which I add to at times, and the biggest delivery range of any restaurant in town. Seriously, the phone is ringing off the hook sometimes. These folks work hard, and turn out a consistently delicious menu, so don’t let the occasional wait sour your experience. So make your way to a hidden corner of town and get some wings!
Good food but poor customer service. I’ve lived in Durango 14 years and have been to jbos many times. The thing that seems to be consistent is good food but not much customer service. This time I ordered to go about twenty minutes out. I was told my food would be done in fifteen minutes. I arrived twenty minutes later to pick it up. I proceeded to wait another 25 minutes for my food, when little did I know they had it ready to go the whole time. When they finally realized that they handed me my food and sent me on my way. No apology. No explanation. Nothing. I’m very tempted to stop eating there. We’re not in short supply of restaurants in Durango.
Restaurant is reasonably priced and portions are large. Quality of food is great, not blow your socks off fantastic, but better than the average pizza slice. Order a side salad and a slice of pizza for a cheap, good, satisfying lunch. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, don’t choose here. Customer service can be slow and it takes about 20-30 min to get your food. Other than that, this place is a good pizzeria!
Not for tourists. Huge disappointment. Poorest customer service I have ever experienced. We ordered, then waited long enough for the table next to us to come in, order their food, get their food and eat it, we finally were brought our appetizer. The girl who brought the pizza let it slide off the tray and onto the table. Then scooped it back up onto the tray creating a huge mess and expected us to just eat it anyway. We had to request another be made for us. If you’re a local, no problem. Tourists, beware Never eat here.
Pretty disappointing, they atmosphere was good, the staff had little to no customer service skills, and my brisket sandwhich was about 50% fat. Fat gives BBQ it’s flavor, but shouldn’t be the majority of what’s on your bun 🙁
Best Pizza in Durango!. Hands down the best pizza in Durango! I love going to J Bo’s. It’s off the beaten path, has unique specialty pizza combination’s and their burgers are fantastic.
