Excellence in Dining. Family of 4 last evening in Durango could not have ended any better. We had grouper, salmon, free range clicken, and ribeye. Each serving was perfectly delicious along with atmosphere and friendly, professional service. Will always be on our priority list for restaurants when we return.

Superb. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever dined. The owner, Karen, is attentive and gracious. My family owned a restaurant for 60 years and we all worked in it. Karen is an inspiring owner and it is obvious the staff love working for her. Little things tell you a lot about a restaurant. I watched the chef and cooks work. They were like a well oiled machine. The wait staff and supporting people were very team oriented. A new server was being trained and everyone was supportive of her.The food was creative, unpretentious, and outstanding. My wife had seared halibut. We have been to Alaska twice and know how halibut should be prepared. The halibut was fresh, seared to perfection, and the lemon aioli and crispy polenta provided both a taste and texture perfection. I had the rabbit sausage w/ polenta and morels. The dish was magnificent. However, I saved the best for last. The ham and bean soup was incredible. They raise their own pigs and the ham and ham stock was like I have never tasted. The vegetables cooked al dente, which is a rarity anymore. That takes attention to detail. They have a great wine menu and my negroni’s were just like in Milan and Florence where I discovered that eclectic cocktail. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, but didn’t try to be our friend, a common flaw w/ many servers.
