Best Sport Bar In Town. Best Sports Bar in town hands down. Friendly staff They have a ton of TV’s and the staff always accommodate you if there is a specific game or event you are looking to watch. They will find a TV for you to watch your game guaranteed. The food is great now under the new management. I have had an experience where my order was messed up but they corrected it quickly and gave me a round on the house for the trouble.Only place in town to find a proper Philly Cheesesteak and the Jalapeno poppers are outstanding and fresh. The only thing I don’t like is that there is a support beam that is really close to the bar and makes for a couple awkward seats at the bar. Not a deal breaker but still a bit weird. Overall, I’d highly recommend stopping in.

Great Sports Bar and Family establishment. Main Event is a family oriented Sports Bar & Grill! We have courteous and attentive staff that take special care of all of our customers. Our staff goes above and beyond to accommodate all our patrons each and every night. We prepare our food to order each and every time. Our bartenders or the most experienced in Durango, and our drinks are NEVER watered down and are made by professionals. Our owners are very hard working both on the floor and behind the bar and are there all the time. We have 15 televisions that are showing all types of games and events, so the restaurant does get loud at times. There are plenty of low tables for those that are handicapped and easily accessible. We have numerous patrons that use wheelchairs that frequent our establishment with no problems. If there is a mistake on a bill, which does happen because everyone makes mistakes, that mistake is immediately taken care of by that server or bartender, or by the owner. The owners of Main Event have read positive and negative reviews and work hard to correct anything that is needed to be corrected. Main Event would like to invite those individuals that have written negative reviews to come back in and meet the owners and let us give you a wonderful dining experience.

These other reviews are false, none of these things happened, dogs are not allowed in this restaurant, of course there a handicapped accessible seats and the bar tenders are knowledgable. The owener is alowed to drink whenever he’s not working duh it’s his bar, and the wait staff is not taking shots at the bar that’s b.s. Try it yourself see what you think then make your own review because the other reviews must be from upperclass snotty people, out of town or talking about another bar.

Fed up— and not in a good way. Where to begin. We have given this place a number of tries — strike four tonight. Last time we were there a woman brought her dog in– would have thought she would be asked to leave, but the owner came over, while drinking, and encouraged her to just hide it under the table. Every time we have been there, the owners have been out front drinking. Tonight– the owner carried on with four or five buddies, screaming and shooting shots with the waitstaff. It was ridiculous. There were families there! Then, when I thought I could be incredulous at this place no more, I witnessed a woman attempt to be seated. She had a push walker and needed a low table. There are only three low tables and are up a six inch step. If you are handicapped, you can’t eat at this place. The owner saw the woman struggling with her walker up the step but didn’t do a thing. He just carried on with his shots and encouraging waitstaff to take shots. Then, when one didn’t, he gave her a hard time. Maybe if the food was outstanding we would go back. However, it really isn’t. It is average to mediocre to poor overpriced bar food. Never again. I would rather eat Twinkies from the Exxon for dinner.
