Lousy tourist trap food with cloth napkins and lodge-style chandeliers to justify overcharging. Soggy, chewy batter on the fish was inedible. Cole slaw had all the toughness and flavor of corrugated fiberboard. Wait staff was good but food took forever to come out.
I heard good things about Claire’s so I tried it out for lunch. It was alright but nothing to be excited about. I had the rainbow trout and my wife had one of their waffles. The trout was totally bland, the breakfast potatoes were overdone and the service was average. I might go again but only for breakfast because the waffle was pretty tasty.
