A small restaurant and bar serving your basic American food. Decent options for lunch right in the downtown shopping area. Our food was decent but they were busy and the service was a little slow. The staff was friendly and apologetic about the wait.
We had 1/3 pound cheese burgers with onion rings. The burgers were average but the onion rings were made on site (not frozen) and pretty good – they had a Panko-type breading.
Local’s Grill. Local’s is a little sports bar and grill that my fiance and I chose as we walked by. The decor is typical if a bit dated, though I did like that they didn’t have 200 televisions in the place. The menu has few vegetarian options, but there are a few. We were the only patrons during our visit, and service was good and not overly attentive. I had the Veggie Wrap and subbed sweet potato tater tots for the menu offered fries or slaw. I really enjoyed the wrap and all the veggies seemed fresh. The wrap also featured sauteed mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. The sweet potato tater tots were on the specials menu and were very tasty. My fiancee ordered the Po Boy sandwich. She was not as happy as the sandwich seemed to comprise of frozen shrimp (we kind of expected that) and Steak-um. It was edible but nothing to write home about. All in all I give Local’s 6.5 of 10 stars.
The food was all frozen and then over fried! My wife could not eat hers and we sent it back!! Service was poor!! Do not be fooled by southern cooking!
We had a great experience. Large party with kids and they were very accomodating. Pizza not too bad.

Not so good.. We were sorely disappointed in this restaurant – very plain. I had soup and sandwich and was not excited about either one of them. Waitress was nice enough, just not the best food.
