Just pass by. There are so many fun, delicious restaurants in Estes. Sadly, this isn’t one of them.
Very disappointed. It was a busy morning – an hour and a half before the highland parade start. So, it was busy downtown, but not extremely. There were plenty of open tables, and we got in quickly. But after that, it all went down hill. The service was the worst part – very inattentive and an extremely slow kitchen. Coffee cup was refilled once after sitting empty for 15 minutes and then never rechecked. We waited 45 minutes for a pancake and two omelettes. Pancake was chewy; omelettes were slightly greasy. After we finished eating, we waited another 10 minutes for the bill. We didn’t even see our waitress walking around unless she checked on us. Plenty of other waitresses were meandering through the restaurant without a glance or concern for us though at the last 20 minutes, we were the only party in that room. It seemed to me after seeing their actions and hearing snippets of conversation, we’ve been victims of clicky waitresses who don’t particularly care for our waitress. Now, let me make it absolutely clear – our waitress was nothing less than friendly and polite. Just an unfortunate situation. So, in the end, I would not recommend this restaurant. I think there are plenty of better options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as this was nothing more than your average greasy spoon.
Didn’t realize you could screw up scrambled eggs, now I know scrambled eggs with runny whites (ordered scrambled hard) Don’t order French toast if you are hungry, one single slice of sandwich bread. Avoid at all costs. Wait in line at the Egg & I.

Home Cooking!. After living in Estes Park for 8 years we finally tried Molly B’s. The Molly B Hamburger w/Cheddar was great. The 1/3lb hamburger was juicy and the sesame bun was nice and warm, obviously grilled. The fries were nice a crispy. The wife had a Ruben sandwich which was filled with very lean meat. Although I won’t touch the stuff the sauerkraut was very good according to the wife. We tasted the creamy cheese potatoe soup which had a hint of chipolte and although chipote is also not a favorite of mine, it was good. The pies however are the best and such a large variety!!!
This is the best place to get breakfast in Estes!!! The staff is super friendly and the food is perfection. I have breakfast at Molly B’s at least twice every time I visit estes. You are missing out if you don’t try this place. I give it 5 stars.
