I do like it… BUT…. I stopped by for some treats to go because I refused to leave EP without a visit to a real tea house with such a cute name and logo (crazy cat lady alert).Grabbed an eggnog oreo and a kitty cat bar. Both were wonderful! KCB was dense and tasted similar to a haystack. Eggnog oreo was super spiced, rich, eggnog blast of crunchy chocolate and filling.Prices were excellent! I was surprised!The only issue… I waited 10 minutes to be served, while standing at the counter, with 4 groups waiting behind me just to pay for their already eaten meal. I see the owner running around like a chicken with her head cut off unable to read her own handwritten tickets. She was very friendly, kind, knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy her business… but so frazzled! Seemed untrusting of her employees to do anything but wash dishes and run the espresso machine. I see it from her side, and with the delectable deliciousness of the sweet treats, it’s all about quality control. It was busy in there with every table filled, but she’s got to delegate so she doesn’t run herself ragged or lose business.Very beautifully decorated inside and in a lovely location with nice views of shops, flowers (summer!) and snow (winter!) I’d like to return for a delicious, REAL, high tea!
Wonderful find.. This was hands down the best restaurant I visited while vacationing in Estes Park. A large variety of teas and a delicious assortment of treats and eats. I highly recommend the Earl grey tea bread. I wish I had found this spot first. Wonderful service and a great place to sit and sip with friends and family.Thanks for the lovely afternoon.
