Mountain Home is in the same shopping center as the Safeway — meaning away from Elkhorn Avenue’s bustle. The place is old-fashioned and happily non-noisy. The service is attentive. Best of all, the foodseems scratch-made. Breakfast and lunch are served, including breakfast any time the caf is open/

An excellent choice for breakfast featuring made from scratch items like corned beef hash. Shady outdoor seating is nice except it faces the parking lot of the strip center where this restaurant is hidden away.

Great breakfast! There were many choices that looked delicious. The staff was very friendly and my coffee never had the opportunity to even get cold.

Great food super nice staff. Excellent breakfast, my husbsnd enjoys the breakfast burrito with green chili. For lunch the turkey foccacia with a side of ranch is awesome. Love the onion rings too.

Probably one is the nicest waitresses I’ve ever been served by.. She was great! Friendly, talkative without being prying, swift, pleasant, seemed to enjoy working there and knew her job well. Anyone who spends a few extra seconds drawing on a ticket…silly, but it’s the little things that make a difference. We weren’t expecting anything excellent from this place…it looks plain, boring, almost strange inside with the scene filters over the overhead lights. But it was excellent! Food came out super fast, fresh, and hot. Trout for breakfast was a real winner. Nicely seasoned, perfectly cooked and deboned. We were surprised. Chicken fried steak is also great! Tender, perfectly seasoned, breaded, and cooked. Gravy was awesome – first sausage gravy I’ve ever had that had real, huge pieces of sausage in it. A wonderful breakfast! Perfect start for a cold adventure on the town!

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! The breakfast quesadilla is delicious.. Plus they give you salsa to dip it in if you’d like. My husband got a pancake and it was HUGE! One pancake is the size of a large plate. Come here for great breakfast in Estes Park 🙂

Food was ok but coffee was bitter, service was slow, and portions were small. Not very impressed.
