Overall, disappointing experience for the price. Nicky’s knows meat. Our steaks were good, but the rest absolutely was not. A bowl of iceberg lettuce for the salad at $30.00 a plate for the entree? Plastic containers of creamer and margarine served in a little bowl like what you’d find in a diner? Really? No substitutions on the menu, to boot. This place looks like it gets its most business at 5pm for those wanting to catch the senior special. Surly waitresses too. You can find better in estes park.

When in Colorado, have the trout.. We go to Estes Park every summer. Nicky’s is one of our favorites and it’s because of the bar and the trout. There are no kids allowed in the bar, as it should be. The drinks are really good and there is a piano player, tv and a great fireplace. You are right on Fall River so you can open the windows in the bar and hear the river or you can sit outside.

  • Winslow

Overpriced to say the least. Prime rib / seafood Buffett. Prime rib ok, not worth the asking price. Deserts were the best part.

  • Cindy Saunders Buggs

Good prime rib. Brown gravy on chicken fried steak when it should have been cream. Good though.

  • LK

Eaten here for many years.. It’s always a treat to eat here with friends and family. Little bit upscale dinner, and a nice casual lunch. Service has always been friendly, and food comes out quick and perfectly cooked.

  • DLC

Lousy salad bar. Prime rib tough as nails. Sides sucked.

  • Angela

Mediocre at best. The lettuce in the salad was wilted with some pieces beginning to rot. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box as did the gravy. The prime rib was mediocre at best. Wait staff was friendly.
