  Mashed potatoes were clearly an instant mix and rice was poorly made box rice. Even a simple salad was messed up. Water tasted like chlorine. Very disappointed and a total waste of money and time. Staff was friendly but not attentive to our table.

  Stopped in for a late dinner after a long day. Decor is kind of dated, but it works! It has a homey feel to it. Had a seat right next to the river (so pretty). Our waiter Scott was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and just all around awesome. I had a the Chicken Rice soup (amazing) and the sirloin with a baked potato (also amazing). Hubs had a house salad (it’s house salad, can’t go wrong here) and the lasagna parmigiana with veal (also amazing). We ordered desserts (Caramel Crunch cake and Tiramisu), but took them to go. They weren’t as great as the rest of the meal, but I wouldn’t hold that against the restaurant. We did take them to go and they hung out in the fridge for bit before being eaten. There was definitely potential there for them to be amazing. Next trip to Estes Park we will definitely eat here again.

  Yes and BIG NO. 2015 Valintines dinner started out great They where very buzy it took 15 min to be greted by our server that was ok the server had tables oll over the restaurant no set station se was running crazy (managment falt) we got our greek salad and onion soup very VERY GOOD. We then got our entres prime rib and sirlionboth where ordered MR my prime rib was good perfect MR my ladies sirloin was purple it was so rear the server never checked back I WAS DONE EATING MY DINNER I WAS big time up set I went to managment they came and took it back to the kitchen and recooked when it came back it was burnt on the out side but it was MR they did comp her steak as they should off.we had to ask for our red wine that came with the meal and finnaly got it!!!, I ask for a refill on my ice tea and NEVER GOT IT.The server was slamed all night. Very short staffed (managment)For a cost of 25 to 300 dollers for a steak you would think the cook would know how to cook a steak!!!!The butter for the bread was the foil things you get at Dennys and this is a $25 doller a plate steak house (not good)Really managment needs to look at what happend last night it was bad BAD managment turnd people away at 6.30 pm tables where open untill we left at 8.00 PM they had to of been short staffed only 3 servers in the main dinning room.Im a chef and I know what I’m talking about This was all managment staff I would be supprized if they have any help after this ninhtmear I would not go back to work their.Mark
