Yuck!!!. Went here because of reviews. First quality clue was we were only ones ther at 1230. Party of three. Orders included chili dog, Ruben sandwich on marble rye with potato salad, spinach and cheddar quiche with side salad. Chili on dog tasted like canned. (Advertised as fresh made). Ruben was on marble rye , soggy and untoasted with tough corned beef, seemingly undrained sauerkraut, and soupy thousand island dressing . Quiche (spinach &a cheddar) was soggy with aan inedible gummy bread like crust and tasted like canned spinach had been used. It was microwaved and barely lukewarm which didn’t help. The salad had one lovely fresh cucumber slice, and three that were soggy limp and slimy. The women working there repeatedly told us they were the top rated Estes Park restaurant on Yelp. If this is the best Estes Park has to offer, I shudder to think what McDonalds or Wendy’s is like. BTW on Monday between 1215 and 1:00 we were the only customers. Never a good sign for a top-rated restaurant.
Good place for light quaint lunch..
Small little cafe on the strip.. Friendly service, great sandwiches! Perfect for a quick bite to eat before the sites..
Good food, great service. Nice place to eat outside by the river.
By far the BEST sandwiches I’ve ever had. The entire sandwich is toasted, not just the bread, but the best part … there is 3 times the amount of meat you get at other sandwich places (Subway, etc.)
Ate half of a Reuben and half of the roast beef – both were tasty with a generous amount of meat. They had a good balance of bread and other fillings. The cookies are good, too!
Didn’t actually get to eat. It looked like a great small deli but we arrived too late for a sandwich. The owner was probably the nicest guy I’d ever met in Estes. Good cookies and good selection of beverages. Will recommend this place on the owner alone.
