My husband and I shared an appetizer of wild boar sausage stuffed mushrooms with a lime chimi churri sauce. They were delicious. The sauce adds just the right amount of acid to make them mouth watering. And there was nothing gamey about the wild boar sausage. We also split the Mushroom and Jack Burger. The burger had a nice grilled flavor and was very tasty. Would definitely eat here again.

Friendly staff, good quality food. They have Yak burgers! I had them throw an egg on my cheese burger and it was delicious. The decor was decent and the patio was comfortable.

Would be 2.5 on food and service. Still the atmosphere is what you are buying. This place fairly exudes it. There is memorabilia everywhere and the water wheel is cool.Pretty extensive menu so you ought to find something to eat. There are better places but this one is in thick of one of the most picturesque spots in Estes.

Cool interior, good location, decent food, good service. Interior is full of Estes Park trinkets, newspaper clippings, photos, and old mining stuff. It’s definitely worth having a gaze around while you wait for food. Kitchen was a wee bit slow – especially for cooking a couple burgers medium…turns out they were both charred and well done. Waitstaff was decently attentive, but also a bit slow. Place was rockin for 2pm in the afternoon on a cold day.Food was good. Burgers come unseasoned, but you have a ton of options to choose from. If you get alternative meat, go for a plain burger so you can taste the meat otherwise it is a waste of money. If not, go for a cream cheese burger. Mmm! Nothing like slightly melty sundried tomato creamcheese on a thick burger. Delicious! Despite having received overcooked burgers, they were still good. Loved the Scotch eggs – few places offer them.

I don’t see how any restaurant can charge $13 for a burger made from a frozen patty. SO disappointed … Lots of better places to eat in estes

Hit or miss. My elk burger was great but my wife’s steak sandwich was terrible

The service was terrible. The waitress forgot to give one of us our food for about 15 minutes– it was embarrassing and frustrating. Three of us had our food while the other one waited. The cook had to bring the burger out to her. The burgers looked pre maid and were not impressive considering the 14 bucks that they cost. Not impressed– don’t bother going here.
