My husbands yak burger and beer were delicious. My wild game meatloaf…Ive had better meatloaf in the hospital I work at. It was so dry. My mash potatoes were edible, but nothing special. My husband ordered slaw as his side for his burger, but he never got it, so no idea if that was any good. The waiter, who was also the bartender, was friendly and busy so I didnt complain. Overall, would not come back.
We went here for the yak burgers, which we’d never had before. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. It was slightly more greasy than a beef burger, but the seasoning was perfect, and the overall flavor was definitely worth the risk. It was paired with fries, which we’re fresh. The service was a little slow, but it didn’t bother us. We sat on the back patio and could see some wildlife munching on the grass in the hill behind the restaurant. I would eat here again and definitely recommend it.
