It seemed like the major attraction for Wapiti was their beer selection. Aside from that, it was overpriced and under-flavored food. I’m not a drinker, but if that’s what you are looking for this might be the spot for you, otherwise steer clear.

Great spot!. We live in Loveland, and Love Wapiti. We always take friends and family there when they visit. Their service is fabulous and the food is good, too. We definitely recommend Wapiti.

Good Food in Estes. My sister and I dined there this past week and enjoyed the food there very much. The atmosphere was great, the prices were very reasonable and our waitress was very nice!!!

New Local Love. We had nachos for an appetizer and they were enough for the 6 of us there! For Dinner my husband had a burger, which was good, and I had the Cowboy Ciao which was out of this world good since I love spicy foods, (you can get it less spicy if you want)Our waiter was great, and even offered to sing Happy Birthday to the birthday boy.. but since he didn’t want to be sung to we didn’t take him up on it. We have been living in Estes Park now for a little over a year, and this is one we will take our friends and family to when they come to visit 🙂

The service was very good and our lunch came to us quickly. The elk burger was great, and so was my trout, although I had a few bones in it. There is a very good beer selection. There was also a diverse and tasty selection of sides to go with my meal.

Great service, food, and beer!. The Wapiti is our favorite restaurant in Estes Park, and we look forward to taking our guests there. Our latest visit was for my Dad’s birthday, and the service couldn’t have been better! The fish tacos are always excellent, and my parents enjoyed chicken quesadillas. The beer selection on tap is great, and the prices are reasonable. We were glad to see the patio will be opening soon, as our weather here in Estes is warming up!

Glad to have them back! New Menu.. We have lived in Estes Park since the 1990s and this has consistently been a ‘go to’ place for lunch or dinner for the past few years. They just reopened from major flood damage in Sept’13, with a new menu — many unchanged items and a few new ones! PROs: Rocky Mountain Oysters are consistently some of the best around. Beer selection from a lot of smaller breweries I guarantee you’ve never heard of. A healthy salad (Wapiti Chopiti, new on the menu), great burgers (I recommend you do not need the elk or kobe burger… leave that to the tourists wanting to say they ate something different… really, how different can a burger be when it’s loaded with extras on a bun?) at a reasonable price. Try using a restaurant.com $25 coupon to give the place a try for even a better deal and try the RMOs. CONs: As with most restaurants in Estes, plagued with the challenge of trying to figure out how many servers to bring in that day. They could be standing around or our experience, especially in summer, you could wait a while because they don’t have enough. Instead of only asking for my drink order and I wait 15+ min to get to the meal order, it would be nice to have an option for something (basket of chips, a few fries… anything?) to come with your drink to hold you over.
