Stopped in for dinner while passing through. We ordered the Fat Tire Beer Cheese Soup, Rotisserie Sirloin Roast, and Colorado Cheeseburger. The Fat Tire Beer Chese Soup was good. The popcorn garnish around the bowl was interesting. Kind of wanted a bit more – perhaps a small additional cup on the side? The difference between 7 or 8 kernels and 50 is probably nil.The Rotisserie Sirloin Roast was interesting. Nice presentation and flavors. Selected sides of Roasted Garlic Mashers and Cole Slaw both of which were excellent. The cole slaw turned out to contain cranberries which added both a festive color and flavor. Why cole slaw – because they offered seasonal vegetables neither of which were vegetables. The ‘vegetables’ were Zucchini and Red Peppers. Perhaps the Chef was absent when they covered that in Botany? The Colorado Cheeseburger and Fries were good and better than most. The $11.95 price point was not too excessive.Best thing was the Rotisserie Sirloin.Service was reasonable and the decor is a bit dark and formalish while remaining informal. The several fireplaces help set the mood.

Good and Consistent. I love Austin’s for a couple of reasons. First, the food is good. It’s not the most fantastic food I’ve ever eaten (restaurants in Chicago get that award) but it’s good. It’s also consistent. the consistency rivals that of big chain restaurants like Chili’s and Applebee’s. I brought my boyfriend here for the first time. We started with the Iron Skillet Cornbread which is one of my favorite items on the menu. The was nice and golden brown on the outside with just enough burnt sugar to provide a crispy crust. We then both ordered the Fat Tire Beer Cheese Soup. I’m actually not a fan of Fat Tire on it’s own to drink but it does make a darn good soup. This was my first time ordering this item so the popcorn that comes instead of crackers threw me off. But we giggled about it, threw them in the soup and enjoy every bit of it. I ordered the Grilled Buffalo Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies. The meatloaf itself was great. The mashed potatoes lacked overall flavor but was still good. My boyfriend ordered the special of the night which was the Pot Roast Rotisserie with mashed potatoes. I was so good and flavorful, just like a pot roast should be! I actually think I stole more of his than I ate of mine! We’ll be coming back again.

Stopped in for the first time to have lunch. I ordered the chicken tacos and was very happy. Food quality seems strong and bartender (I sat at the bar) was pleasant and attentive. I will be stopping back for dinner soon.

We went on a Monday evening right around happy hour. We got the hot artichoke dip and it was very good. But the server was terrible, in fact she was even rude to us. We both ordered steaks, the prime rib and the haystack steak. They were ok. We are going to give it one more try and maybe next time get one of the rotisserie items. Hopefully we do NOT have the same server.

I had the Chipotle Pulled Pork sandwich. There were no hints of Chipotle flavour what so ever. In fact, the pork was quite bland! The Mashed Potatos were dry, as well as flavourless. Great server though.

A Pleasant Place. Comfortable. Reasonably priced. Service is pleasant and the food’s pretty good. I give it 3 out of 5.

Out standing meat loaf! More than meat. There are so many yummy ingredients mixed in with the meat.
