Love. Bann Thai offers one of the most authentically Thai menus in town. This isnt one of those Asian Fusion restaurants that make some sort of misguided attempt to serve sushi along with pad thai. Everything from the green papaya salads to the curry dishes is fantastic. And for those of you that like your Thai food spicy? This is the only place in town that I have found that takes me seriously when I ask them to prepare something as hot as you can possibly make it Thai Hot! That is both a happy endorsement and a serious warning! I have been to both locations. The downtown location has a more intimate atmosphere while the front range location has a beautifully modern open kitchen design. I have had great food and service at both establishments. As a person that has lived in Southeast Asia for years, Im happy to endorse Bann Thai as my favorite Thai restaurant in Fort Collins.
IMO, this is the best Thai restaurant in Fort Collins. Lots of delicious dishes to choose from, but my current fav is Phad Kra Praow — sauteed meat or tofu with lots of vegetables, fresh chili, garlic and basil. Soooo flavorfull! I order it with brown rice, which is another plus. Close to the university and Old Town. The service is always friendly and prompt.

This is the 1st time @ 2nd site Front Range Village2721 Council Tree Ave., Suite 137The Thai tea was great and the service was very good, although I think the waitress hissed at me after I didn’t like the pork & then the chicken she suggested to replace the pork. The pork looked more like beef and tasted similar [too dark and didn’t look like any I have ever seen]. the 1st bite had gristle and was tough and I did not care for the taste. She asked if I didn’t like it ,as I was culling all of it to corner of plate. She asked if I’d like chicken in the sauce and I said yes. It was too strong tasting, what I would call wild from adrenaline so i only tried a few pieces. Later I got a to go box and left the pork and chicken and she walked by and hissed. Also, this is a more sour sweet sauce, not like other sweet sour sauces but alright. Brown was good.My daughter had the green curry with chicken and her chicken tasted fine.I did leave her a 20% tip as the service was very good. I am very sensitive to off tasting meat or food in general but the pork I don’t was pork or a very bad grade like nothing I have ever seen or tasted in 60 + years.
Best Thai food I’ve had in Colorado. Thai iced coffee and Thai iced tea were so good too. Had the chicken Larb, Tom yum soup and chicken Panang. All very good.
Worst Thai I’ve Had in Fort Collins. I read the reviews on this restaurant and was very disappointed when we had dinner there. The Chicken Satay was dried out and flavorless and my dish (he Phad Wun Sen) had so little beef in it with egg noodles instead of the traditional thick noodles. It had very little sauce and did not have much flavor. We were hoping to make this our new Thai place in Fort Collins, but we’ll never spend that kind of money for such horrible food again!

Best thai in town. There is an abundance of thai restuarants in this town but Bann Thai remains THE BEST IN FORT COLLINS. Food is fantastic the service is freiendly and fast, and its fairly afforadable. After trying a handful of different Thai resturants in this town I will only come here. Hands down the place to go for good thai.
