I love your food, you guys have the best burgers and fries in town. However, today my experience was less than satisfactory. Not only were my favorite truffle fries not fresh, the fry cook made a point of coming out from the kitchen to argue with us. As a person who enjoys your establishment and would like to continue doing so, perhaps a conversation with your cooking staff about manners and customer service would be helpful.
Delicious food – But don’t trust their gluten free options – they don’t take any measures to avoid cross contamination even if you order GLUTEN FREE! A nice idea but don’t offer something you can’t deliver.
No good. I have never had a burger made out of grease until I ate here. I like juicy burgers but they should not be made of grease. After eating half my burger I had gone through 4 napkins, that were completely see through, and there was a lake of grease below from a steady stream that poured from my burger. I thought this was a fluke cause everyone I talked to said they had not had the experience so I went back. This time I ordered it without bacon or cheese as I did not want the same experience. After one bite I left and went to stuffed.
YESYESYES. This is bar faar the best place for anyone to eat in fort collins. The only nad part is seeing people walk past the door and wondering if they know what they are missing out on lol
The 60/40 is epic.
Meh. Better burgers at Lark, Trailhead, or Stuft.
Fries were fabulous, the burger…not so much. Go to Five Guys instead.. We (fiance and I) had driven past Big Al’s a few times and since we love a good burger we finally decided to check it out tonight.I LOVE the decor, the fact that they sell art for local artists, and just the general ‘green’ nature of the place with a compost bin instead of a trash can, etc.For a Wednesday night, the service was very slow, with only 1 other (2 person) order in front of us it still took about 20 mins for them to make our food. We were going to just take the food to go but decided to eat in instead which was lucky since they made my burger COMPLETELY wrong. The cook was much faster to remake my burger correctly the second time so that was nice. Both my fiance and I agreed that the fries were fantastic…we were impressed. But when it came to our burgers, not so much. Other than mine being made incorrectly, neither of us were fans of the flavor (or lack thereof.) The burgers really weren’t seasoned much at all and mine (a double cheeseburger with bacon) had a really gross aftertaste towards the end of the burger. All in all, we give Big Al’s a C and even though it breaks my heart to recommend a chain over a local place, I’d say to not even waste your time, just go to Five Guys instead.
