My first time to blue agave was last night. We had a late reservation on a weeknight and so I was very surprised how slow our service was from our waiter. I will go back, it’s a fun, cute atmosphere and the food was not the run of the mill style Mexican food, it was delicious!

  • Great atmosphere in the bar area, the back is dark and cold. Food is okay but extremely expensive. Portions are small. The margaritas are $12 and didn’t feel the alcohol after 4….. great service but $300 for 4 people. The lobster tacos had little if any real lobster meat. Probably wouldn’t do over….

Best mex so far in 4 months in Ft Co. Almost hate to call this mexican food as menu is so diverse and adventurous. Loved the Lobster tacos and Steak Asado. Their specialty margeritas were among the best we ever had. We will definately be going back. No complaints and very happy palates!!!!

Excellent!. My girlfriend and I made our first visit to Blue Agave last night. We sat at the bar where both bartenders were very welcoming and attentive. We started with edamame which was wonderful…has a great spicy lime dressing. We split the Tunarita which was excellent and the Chili Lime Chicken Tacos (we chose the lettuce wrap option), again, very good. Wine list limited, but that seems fairly standard here in Fort Collins. Overall we had a great night and will certainly be going back…quite a few items we’re anxious to try.
