Went here for dinner, I was a little taken aback by the size and decor. The sister place in loveland was more inviting on the inside. As far as the food was concerned, it was good but not great. I’m still searching for excellent thai food in northern Colorado. The best I’ve found thus far is Baitong in loveland.

I’m not sure how this place gets good ratings. It’s very underwhelming, small, and just blah. Food was nothing to write home about either.

If you like authentic Thai food, you have to try this place! The owner/chef does an unbelievable job on her dishes, the portions are plentiful and spices are unbelievable. We have tried all the Thai restaurants in FoCo and this one takes the cake

My Life is Complete. I used to live in Steamboat Springs and work in a Thai restaurant. I absolutely loved the Pad Thai that Sambi made (before they hired a new cook). He hand created the authentic sauce I would enjoy night after night, but sadly his secret recipe left when he did. Since that time about two years ago I have been searching high and low for another pad thai that could compare with Mario’s and fill the missing hole in my heart. Today my heart became whole. Not only did Cafe Bangkok’s pad Thai satisfy my longing for great Thai food, it blew my expectations out of the water. After two years of trying what seemed like every Thai Restaurant I came across in Colorado and Wyoming I had nearly given up hope. All I can say is thank you Cafe Bangkok. With your freshness of handmade ingredients and sauces, your modern simplistic decoration, and your exuberant staff, you have made one Thai food connoisseur extremely happy. 😀

Hidden gem!. I’m almost reluctant to post this, as I sort of want to keep this little place a secret! But it’s too good to hide so here goes. This is incredibly authentic Thai food, the best I’ve ever had. While I’ve never been to Thailand, I have traveled to some places in this country that *should* have better Thai food than little old Fort Collins. This place takes the prize. The mussaman curry is to die for: warm with cinnamon and nutmeg, and perfectly spiced (they ask you for your preference). The service can be a little slow at times, but it’s just one server and I think only one or two cooks back there, but it’s worth it for the amazing food! The owner/chef almost always comes out to ask me how my meal was. You won’t be disappointed.

Impressed. This is a very unassuming little restaurant, I even wonder how many people drive or walk by and never take the time to stop and try; what they don’t realize is they are missing some of the best Thai food in Northern Colorado. We tried the three of their dishes including Drunken Noodle, and Pad Thai. All were very good! My one complaint would potentially be that in our Drunken noodle dish we tried the seafood option and the squid.

Exceptional Thai Cuisine. After our first visit last week (where among the four of us we tried 3 dishes) we couldn’t wait to return. So yesterday we tried 4 more dishes. All 7 dishes were exceptionally delicious, authentic Thai and prepared with talent and grace. Here are some of the dishes we have tested and would not hesitate to order again – there are so many wonderful choices…from the standbys of Thai favorites to dishes with Took’s (owner and chef) unique flair for cooking. Pad Thai with Shrimp – light, not sticky, delightful flavors, I did share a noodle or two with my friends, but not much…..Tom Yum Po Taek which is a seafood soup seasoned with lemongrass, lime and a wonderful broth. I dreamed about this soup last night and think it is now my new favorite dish.Pad Kra Prow, hubby’s fave stir fry with Holy Basil. When he wasn’t looking I kept sneaking tastes from the edges of his plate…..that oyster sauce is incredibly enticing.Red Curry with Beef seasoned with Thai basil. The beef was super thin and tender and the seasonings were perfect. For those who want gluten free, this is your place. And the crystal rolls are the best I’ve ever had.Service by Took’s two lovely daughters is great.
