We love Canino’s! Perfect for a date night, but yet you can still bring the kiddos too. Been going on Tuesday nights for the 1980 prices for a few items on their menu (think $3!). The rolls are fantastic and they will keep bringing them at your request. I love the sampler platter and the sauce is awesome! 🙂 must try!
Worse Tomato Sauce EVER. Ordered Fried Calamari appetizer which came with a chunky tomato sauce and both the calamari and the sauce were great… then dinner came… Got the special sampler with lasagna, a ravioli, and spaghetti. The sauce was the most disgusting tomato sauce I have ever had… It tasted similar but worse than a can of Campbell’s tomato soup and had a watery consistency. Everything was bland with very few herbs or salt or anything. The lasagna was better than ravioli or spaghetti, but would never eat it again. If I ever visit Fort Collins again, I will not be coming here.
Great food, neat atmosphere, been around for years. Have a price kickback night but don’t remember what day it is. Try this place…you won’t regret it!
The Atmosphere and Food are Great. This unassuming restaurant is built into a charming older home that really sets this dining opportunity apart from most of the other restaurants in the area. Our meal was relaxed and gave us more time to talk and laugh over the fine wine selection and great salads. My lasanga was perfect. I did not save room for dessert but they did look good. This is a great place to bring someone special and take a break from the world.
I liked most of it. Canino’s has a special on Monday & Tuesday’s until the first week in March. I don’t think you can beat the prices and you get a pretty good sized potion. I got the combo plate. The lasagna was pretty good. The ravioli was good also but to tell you the truth I would be embarrassed to cook and serve what they called spaghetti. There was not a single piece of pasta that was over 1/2 inch long. It looked like it had been way over cooked and was falling apart. I felt like I could not complain because it was so inexpensive. I also felt like it might have been a new cook or the manager or owner might not have been there. In any case I liked 2/3 of the dish and I guess you get what you pay for. I have been to Canino’s many times and most of the time it is well worth the price.
